Morning to all!
This is really winter! That north wind isn’t gusty, but it is steady and COLD!! Thanks to all the hardy souls that got themselves into rehearsal yesterday. We were small, but we still sounded pretty good!
1. Every so often I hear that some of our members may not continue participating due to their financial situation. Please be aware there is financial assistance available from our sponsor, the Eastman Community Music School for all members, and interested new members.
Just access the ECMS web site email@example.com click on Registration and Billing, then on Tuition, Discounts & Scholarships. Complete the Financial Assistance & Scholarship Application form, and submit to the ECMS office in person or by mail. Applications may be considered if your circumstances change mid-semester.
A number of our players already receive assistance, and ECMS makes a strong effort to support folks who otherwise could not participate.
Please don’t hesitate to find out more from the office.
2. Our first RED BAND GIG after the holidays is Tuesday, 2/11 at the Friendly Home - 3156 East Avenue. Downbeat at 2pm and dress is red shirts and black slacks/skirts. The music, in program order is as follows:

Since we haven’t played many of these pieces after the last RB gig in November, we’ll spend some time this Tuesday morning playing through them to help you remember. So Everyone Bring Your Complete Red Band Music Folder Tuesday Morning.
